The Victorian illustrator Aubrey Beardsley was a prolific illustrator, way ahead of his time and sadly died at the young age of 25 years.
I researched every place in which Aubrey had ever resided and then illustrated as many of them as I could.
Many of the buildings I’ve illustrated here no longer exist, so I felt an extra sense of achievement in tracking down photos and old maps and uniting them in my zine.
It was one of my most satisfying pieces to create because it combined so much of what I love; art, history, architecture and a cracking good story.
